Creative Aimaq: Pavlodar region presented its creative goods at a fair in Astana

A fair of creatives from the Pavlodar region, organized as part of the national Creative Aimaq project, was held at the Qazaq Creative Hub in the capital. The exhibition was presented to Aida Balayeva, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The fair featured original works by decorative and applied arts artisans, works by folk artisans, national musical instruments, handmade jewelry, wood, leather, bone, and metal items, ceramics, ethnic clothing collections from regional designers, and works by artists from the Pavlodar region. IT projects already successfully implemented in the region were also presented.

The program also included master classes by leading artisans and artists from the region. Visitors were able to learn about traditional jewelry, pottery, and folk craft techniques, interact with the artisans, and witness the creation of original pieces. Guests also had the opportunity to purchase the products on display. Over 1 million tenge worth of goods were sold on the first day of the fair.

The Creative Aimaq project is being implemented by the Creative Industries Development Fund and aims to support regional creative industries, promote domestic brands, develop creative entrepreneurship, and create a unified platform for showcasing the cultural and creative potential of Kazakhstan's regions.
