This day is dedicated to family, the continuity of generations, respect for elders, and the strengthening of family values. On this day, special attention is paid to family themes, the popularization of parenting traditions, respect for the older generation, and the strengthening of the institution of family. Cultural institutions host events aimed at preserving spiritual and moral values ​​associated with family, home, and the continuity of generations.
The main events of "Shanyraq Kunі" are widely represented in the capital and in the regions of the country. In Astana, all college students are moving into a new 1,000-bed dormitory. A national-style wedding ceremony for 50 families will be held at the Baiterek Monument. A flash mob and the "Altyn Asyk" game were organized at the Zh. Ushkempirov Martial Arts Palace, involving 3,000 schoolchildren. The Youth Musical Theater is hosting an evening of "Baqytty Shaqyraq Zhyry" featuring 18 married couples.
