On June 10, 2025, the Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Kazakhstan Alexey Bogdanov.

Welcoming the guest, Aida Balayeva expressed interest in strengthening bilateral cooperation, which is facilitated by the plan of activities signed by the parties in the field of cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

The parties discussed upcoming joint events, in particular, the possibility of holding Days of Belarusian Culture in Kazakhstan, within the framework of which Aida Balayeva proposed expanding the format by including in the program, in addition to traditional concerts and exhibitions, master classes, creative meetings, scientific conferences and other forms of interaction in the field of culture.

In parallel, Days of Kazakhstani Cinema will be held in Belarus as part of the Listapad Film Festival. Currently, the details of the event are being worked out and the list of films is being clarified. In addition, Kazakhstani artists will take part in the International Festival "Slavic Bazaar", which will be held on July 10-11 in Vitebsk.

At the end of the meeting, Aida Balayeva noted Kazakhstan's interest in deepening cooperation between museums, theaters and archival services of our countries, as well as in joint film production and concert activities. The parties agreed to create a working group to coordinate joint events. According to the meeting participants, this will help strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples of Kazakhstan and Belarus.
