
The creative exhibition and fair "Botai – Culture of the Great Steppe," organized as part of the national Creative Aimaq project, concluded in Astana at the Qazaq Creative Hub.
The exhibition was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva and Akim of the North Kazakhstan Region Gauez Nurmukhambetov, who praised the region's creative potential and the works of local creators on display.
Over the course of two days, 1,535 residents and visitors to the capital visited the exhibition. Guests were introduced to the rich historical and cultural heritage of Botai culture, handicrafts, designer brands, ethnic design, and contemporary projects by representatives of the creative industries of the North Kazakhstan Region. Visitors were presented with handicrafts by folk artists, ethnic design, designer brands, jewelry, and fashion, as well as creative projects in digital technology, VR/AR, Game Development, animation, and artificial intelligence.
By the end of the fair, sales of creative products amounted to almost 4.9 million tenge. This result confirmed the high interest of visitors in domestic creative brands and the products of Kazakhstani artisans.
The Creative Aimaq project aims to develop regional creative industries, promote local brands, expand opportunities for collaboration and commercialization of creative projects, and strengthen the position of the domestic creative sector.
