From October 23rd to 26th, World Designers Fashion Week Astana 2026 is taking place at the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation. The international fashion week program includes designer collection shows, meetings with international experts, and practical masterclasses.
The Creative Industries Development Fund is a partner of the event, creating conditions for professional exchange between Kazakhstani designers and international specialists.
As part of this collaboration, Georgian designer Natia Tsertsvadze held a masterclass on leather bag making at the Qazaq Creative Hub. Participants learned about leather processing technology and mastered cutting and assembly techniques. The knowledge gained will help them hone their craft and improve the quality of their signature products.
Four Days – Four Elements
The concept of World Designers Fashion Week Astana 2026 is dedicated to the four natural elements: water, fire, earth, and air. Each day highlights one of them through designer collections, national traditions, and contemporary artistic expression. The participation of fashion industry representatives from 40 countries provides opportunities for Kazakhstani designers to present their work, establish business contacts, and find international partners.
The Creative Industries Development Fund will continue to support the development of domestic brands and their promotion in international markets.
