Young vocalists from Kazakhstan became prize-winners at the “Khali-Halo” International Competition in Belarus.

The XXI International Competition of Young Performers of Pop Song "Khali-Khalo" took place in Novopolotsk (Republic of Belarus). The event brought together talented participants from Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia.

Kazakhstani performers worthily represented the country and were among the winners of the competition. In the middle age category, a young vocalist from Astana, Dameli Birzhanova, performed the composition "Мұны неге білмейсің?". According to the results of the competition, she took 1st place.

In the senior age category, Kazakhstan was represented by Amina Zhanat, who performed two compositions — "Қазағым-ай" and the English-language "Mamma Knows Best". According to the results of the competition, she took 2nd place.

The work of the participants was evaluated by Honored Art Workers of Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia and Georgia, as well as leading teachers, artists and producers. Kazakhstan in the jury was represented by the soloist of the Roza Baglanova State Academic Concert Organization "Kazakhconcert", teacher of the Department of "Vocal Art" of the Kazakh National University of Arts named after Kulash Baiseitova — Ibrahim Amin.
