The cultural education system demonstrates high results in training creative professionals.
Since the beginning of 2026, 1,548 students from educational institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan have participated in national and international competitions and festivals.
Following their performances, 1,231 of them became winners and runners-up. Successful venues for Kazakhstani talent include the International Competition "World of Music" (Germany), the International Competition "Magic Stars of Paris" (France), the IV International Competition for Young Performers "Light of Stars on the Silk Road," the Johannes Brahms Competition (Poland), the Shanghai International Film Festival (China), the XIX Open Russian Ballet Competition "Arabesque-2026" named after Ekaterina Maximova (Russia), the International Festival and Competition of Young Choreographers (Kazakhstan), and others. Currently, creative talent training is provided at 10 educational institutions within the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including four universities, four colleges, and two specialized music schools for gifted children. The total number of students is 11,136, of which 5,950 are university students and 5,186 are school and college students.
