Celebrated artists, Zhania Aubakirova and Gauhar Murzabekova, after many years, decided to reunite their efforts and talents, performing in a duet again.
They gained such experience for the first time after graduating from the Moscow Conservatory. They passed the most rigorous selection among the strongest musicians from all over the Soviet Union for the right to represent the country at an international competition in France and became its laureates.
"I have always been interested in the creative image of Gauhar Murzabekova; both when we performed with her at joint concerts, and when Gauhar Kurmanbekovna created the Kamerata Kazakhstan chamber orchestra. It was fascinating for me to learn about the peculiarities of quartet and ensemble performance, which Gauhar generously shared with me in the process of preparing for concerts, and later with the young musicians of the orchestra. As a result, thanks to great pedagogical talent, experience in chamber music making, knowledge of the basics and subtle secrets of skill, received from great teachers, a unique ensemble was created, widely known in the country and abroad- the Kamerata Kazakhstan orchestra, Cooperation with the ensemble is a great joy for musicians," said Zhania Aubakirova.
For several decades, Zh.Aubakirova and G.Murzabekova have been creating projects to develop high standards of piano and violin schools in Kazakhstan, raising the culture of symphonic and chamber performance. The "BACH.CHOPIN" concert is part of their musical and educational initiative.
"Each work from the repertoire is different in significance, well-known compositions, but performers always find some highlight and reason for themselves to turn to them. As for Bach or Chopin, it is always a pleasure and, at the same time, a mystery, both for listeners and performers," said Zhania Aubakirova.
The program of the musical evening included the concert of I. S. Bach for piano and chamber orchestra No. 5 in F minor, the concert for piano and string orchestra No. 2 by F. Chopin arranged for piano and chamber orchestra, "Capriol Suite" by British composer Peter Warlock, serenade for string orchestra in C major by P. I. Tchaikovsky. Especially for the concert, they invited a conductor, winner of international competitions - Pavel Romanenko.
"Zhania Aubakirova and I know and understand firsthand what professional support means to a musician. Over the years, we have been able to visit with concerts literally every corner of our vast country.
The aim of our joint project "BACH.CHOPIN" is to provide creative assistance to the regions in maintaining their professional level. Knowing well, from our personal concert experience, that the regions always need attention and professional support, we understand that we have all the necessary resources for this. The project will include not only concerts of classical music, but also master classes, round tables, meetings devoted to methodological issues of educating young musicians. The role of the Kamerata Kazakhstan classical music ensemble in this project is an exemplary model for understanding what any musician in our country can strive for. This is a vivid example of the highest professional level, endless technical perfection and work literally on the smallest details." - said the founder and artistic director of the state ensemble "Kamerata Kazakhstan" Gauhar Murzabekova.
Zh.Aubakirova and G.Murzabekova plan to perform in many regions of Kazakhstan with the joint project "Bach.Chopin".
The next concert will take place on April 30, at 19.00 - in the Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abay, Almaty. Follow the poster.
