From October 10 to 13, 2025, the Days of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be held in Moscow, Russian Federation.
The events, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, are aimed at strengthening cooperation and developing bilateral relations between the two countries.
From October 10 to November 23, the New Tretyakov Gallery will host the exhibition “Masterpieces of Kazakh Art.” It will feature 43 works by Kazakh sculptors and painters from the collection of the Abylkhan Kasteev State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The exhibition will also include 17 paintings and 11 sculptures from the collection of the State Tretyakov Gallery.
In parallel, as part of the Days of Culture of Kazakhstan in Russia, Kazakh Cinema Days will take place. On October 10, the Poklonka Cinema in Moscow will screen the war action film “Time of Patriots” directed by S. Utepbergenov, as well as “Summer of 1941” directed by B. Shekerov.
On October 11, the same cinema will host a screening of “Stop, Night” directed by F. Sharipov, followed in the evening by “Dos-Mukasan” directed by A. Sakhman.
On October 12, young Moscow viewers will be treated to the animated film “The Golden Man,” which tells the sacred story, culture, and military art of the ancient Saka tribes — the ancestors of modern Kazakhs. The film screenings will continue in the evening with “90+1” directed by T. Dulatov.
The interests of Russian theatergoers will also be taken into account: on October 13, the Maly Theatre will host the performance “Parassat Maidany” (“The Battlefield of Conscience”) — a psychological drama exploring the inner world and spiritual values of a person. The play is based on the works of the classic Kazakh writer Tolen Abdikov and will be performed by the troupe of the K. Kuanyshbayev State Academic Kazakh Musical Drama Theatre.
The central event of the Days of Culture will be a concert of Kazakh masters of art, which will take place on November 12 at the Bolshoi Theatre. The gala concert will be held as part of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to the Russian Federation.
The Days of Culture will bring together representatives of the intelligentsia of Russia and Kazakhstan, scholars, writers, members of the diplomatic corps, creative unions, as well as members of the Kazakh diaspora.
