
The first meeting of the intellectual project Aqsham Talks took place in Astana. The project was launched as an open dialogue platform for discussing topical issues of modern society.
Aqsham Talks is an open discussion platform dedicated to discussing topics significant for society, such as education, technology, spirituality, entrepreneurship, and personal development. The cultural event was attended by deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurtore Zhusip and Bibigul Zheksenbay, Chairman of the Public Council of Astana Zulfukhar Gaiypov, Head of the Internal Policy Department of Astana Miras Abdrakhmanov, Head of the Department for Language Development and Archival Affairs of Astana Saken Yesirkep, writer-playwright, laureate of the Abai Kunanbayev State Prize Roza Mukanova, as well as book lovers, media representatives, and students.
During the first meeting, experts, IT specialists, and philologists discussed the development of reading culture in the era of artificial intelligence. Speakers noted that despite the change in the book format in the digital age, its importance remains high.
The discussion also touched upon issues of developing a reading culture, forming critical thinking, and selecting quality content. Experts emphasized that in the modern information space, the importance of analytical thinking and a creative approach is growing.
