Kazakhstan presented its national pavilion at the South China Book Fair.

The 30th South China Book Fair, one of the largest events in China's book industry, held its grand opening in Guangzhou. Kazakhstan is participating in the fair for the second year in a row and has unveiled its national pavilion.
Representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the diplomatic corps, and the Chinese cultural sector participated in the opening ceremony.
The national pavilion features approximately 100 books and cultural products dedicated to contemporary Kazakh and children's literature, cultural heritage, and creative industries.
Publications on the works and legacy of Abai Kunanbayuly, Mukhtar Auezov, Shokan Ualikhanov, Ybyrai Altynsarin, Akhmet Baitursynov, and other prominent figures are prominent. Books on the epic and folklore heritage of the Kazakh people, national traditions, crafts, clothing, cuisine, and yurt culture are also on display. The exhibition included a presentation of the books "Turkish" and "Sheksiz Music: Dimash." Guests were also shown traditional Kazakh crafts and introduced to the distinctive features of national culture.
This year, the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the State Press and Publishing Administration of the People's Republic of China signed a memorandum on the translation and publication of classic works. Over the next five years, approximately 30 works of Kazakh and Chinese literature are planned to be translated.
The Kazakh cultural program is organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Cultural Center of Kazakhstan in Beijing, the Qazaq-Oner National Association, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in China, the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Guangzhou, and the Nomad Culture Foundation.
The exhibition runs from August 27 to 31 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou.
