The exhibition of Seisenkhan Makhanbet is dedicated to two legendary figures - the 120th anniversary of the founder of Kazakh fine arts of Kazakhstan Abilkhan Kasteev, as well as the People's Artist of the USSR Oral Tansykbaev, the creator of the Uzbek school of painting.

The artist began his career in his youth, graduating from the Faculty of Journalism of Al-Farabi University in 1983 in Almaty. In the same year, his first publications appeared in the republican newspaper "Қазақ әдебиеті." Since then, his career has been connected with the world of words and fine arts.

But first there was the Word. Seisenkhan Makhanbet is not only a talented artist, but also an experienced journalist. He has written numerous articles covering various fields of culture, art, religion and spirituality. His work has become a bridge between different areas of knowledge, adorning the pages of many well-known publications in the country.

Since childhood, the artist has been passionate about painting and enjoyed the works of great masters such as Abilkhan Kasteev, Oral Tansykbaev and Kanafy Telzhanov. From 18 years old, he was familiar with and found inspiration from famous artists such as Sakhi Romanov, Zhantai Shardenov, Magauiya Amanzholov, Amandos Akanaev, Kamil Mullashev, Yerbolat Tolepbay, Bekseit Tyulkiev, often visiting their workshops and immersing himself in the secrets of painting.

Years later, after moving to the capital in 2000, Makhanbet focused his attention on painting. Today, he is proud to be one of the most recognizable realist artists. His paintings, being true masterpieces, reproduce the beauty of his native land, nature and cultural traditions.

For his work, Seisenkhan Makhanbet was duly awarded, including the Order of Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as an academician of the Art Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. His work resonates not only at home, but also abroad, including the well-deserved "Gold Medal" of the Russian Union of Cultural Figures. The master's works are kept in private collections in China, the Russian Federation, Turkey, Hungary and other countries.

The current exhibition in Astana has become not only a tribute to the great masters, but also an opportunity to plunge into the wonderful world of creativity of Seisenkhan Makhanbet. Here, each painting is a reflection of the soul and a view of the world from the unique perspective of the artist: the great endless steppe, rivers, high mountain peaks flooded with the midday sun, hunting scenes, autumn forest, a blooming spring garden and the magic of blooming tulips...

The exhibition presents more than 60 works by the artist.
