President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Minister of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva. The Minister heads the delegation that arrived in Yerevan as part of the Days of Culture of Kazakhstan in Armenia.
Welcoming the Minister, President Khachaturyan stressed that such visits contribute to the deepening of bilateral ties, as well as the development of friendly relations between peoples. He noted that culture, as a manifestation of the spiritual identity of peoples, plays an exceptional role in bringing different nations closer, increasing mutual recognition and building bridges of trust.
Minister Aida Balayeva, in turn, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality, highly appreciating the opportunity to hold the Days of Culture of Kazakhstan in Armenia. She stressed the importance of continuity and deepening cultural dialogue as a solid basis for mutual recognition and understanding between peoples.
Aida Balayeva also congratulated and wished peace and prosperity to the people of Armenia on behalf of the President of Kazakhstan on the occasion of the upcoming Easter holiday - the Resurrection of Christ.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on ways to deepen cooperation in the field of culture and related fields.
