
As part of the Nauryznam decade, restoration specialists from the National Center for Manuscripts and Rare Books held a master class, "Renewing the Ancient," on Renewal Day.
Students from Astana International University participated, and under the guidance of restorers, they learned about the key stages of restoring and preserving rare books and manuscripts.
During the practical lesson, methods for cleaning, restoring damaged pages, binding, and preserving the holy book, the Quran, written in 1890, were demonstrated. Particular attention was paid to preserving the book's authentic condition and strengthening its physical structure.
This event emphasized the importance of preserving spiritual heritage and the continuity of cultural values, and also contributed to the development of a respectful attitude toward historical memory.
