Classical music concert held in Astana

A classical music concert organized by the Kazakh State Symphony Orchestra of the Roza Baglanova Kazakhconcert State Academic Concert Organization and the Korean Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea took place in Astana.

That evening, the Kazakh State Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, conductor Bakhytzhan Musakhodzhayeva, performed works of world and Korean classical music on stage.

The program for the evening included W. A. Mozart's overture to the opera "The Magic Flute", Ten Chu's "Korean Dance", "Playing on the Black Keys", "Two Gossips" and Beethoven's Concerto for Piano and Orchestra.

The concert also featured the internationally recognized pianist, winner of the XIV European Piano Competition in Bremen (Germany), laureate of prestigious international competitions named after Queen Elizabeth (Brussels), Geza Anda (Zurich), A.N. Scriabin (Moscow) Stanislav Khegay.

This musical event became a symbol of cultural dialogue and friendship between Kazakhstan and Korea, uniting the heritage of the two peoples in the art of high sound.
