A roundtable discussion dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the birth of Honored Artist of Kazakhstan, graphic artist, and professor Baitursyn Omirbekov was held at the Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts.
The event was attended by the artist's family and friends, his colleagues, and students. Participants discussed Baitursyn Omirbekov's creative path, his contribution to the development of national fine arts, and his teaching.
The event also included the opening of the exhibition "Omir Oernekteri," dedicated to the artist's creative legacy.
Baitursyn Omirbekov made a significant contribution to the development of fine art in Kazakhstan. His work has received international recognition. He was also an honorary foreign member of the Russian Academy of Arts.
