The one-act fairytale ballet "Butterfly," set to music by Jacques Offenbach, premiered at the Almaty Choreographic School's educational theater. Sanzhar Kasimbayev, a teacher at the school, created the concept, libretto, and choreographed the production.

The performance brought together students of all ages, from elementary school to graduates. The participation of second-year students and senior students enabled the creation of a cohesive stage composition and provided the young dancers with valuable professional experience.

The fairytale ballet "Butterfly" is a romantic story of love, trials, and inner transformation. The premiere was warmly received by the audience and confirmed the high level of preparation of the school's students, as well as the importance of original productions in the system of professional choreographic education.
