A closed screening of the short animated film "Umit Ardayim Zhanymyzda" was held at the National Center for Children's Rehabilitation. This film is considered a socially significant project that reflects the inner world and dreams of children with special needs. The film "Umit Ardayim Zhanymyzda" became one of the winners of the 2023 pitching. The scriptwriter is 19-year-old startup owner, volunteer and author of social initiatives Diana Murzagalieva. The script for the cartoon is based on her original and adapted fairy tale "Zhaqyn Zherde Gazhaiyp". In early childhood, Diana had to deal with speech development issues that required long-term rehabilitation. Despite these circumstances, from a young age she showed an active life position and a desire for self-realization. For her contribution to society and civic activism, she was awarded the Princess Diana Award. The film was directed by Kuanysh Nagyz, the author of such animation projects as "Ush Syi", "Menin Atym Kozy", "Transformer Tulparlar", "Bakashabak" and "Kozhanasyr Men Urylar".
As noted by the Chairman of the Board of the State Center for Support of National Cinema Kurmanbek Zhumagali, the development of inclusive and educational content for children is a priority area of the state cultural policy. This film, according to him, gives hope and calls on society to be kind.
Let us recall that four new animation projects are currently in production with the support of the State Center for Support of National Cinema: "Team A", "Alan Turaly Anyz", "Zhibek" and "Baiterek Turaly Anyz".
