The children's choir "Eligai" won a gold award at an international festival in China.

The "Eligai" Children's Choir of the K. Baiseitova Kazakh National University of Arts won the gold award at the 2nd International Choir Festival, held in Hong Kong and Shenzhen.
Following the competitive auditions, the Kazakh ensemble received the Gold Award in the "Performing Choir" category, achieving the highest score. The choir performed under the direction of conductor Asem Yesenova.
The young performers demonstrated a high level of ensemble skill, expressive sound, and professional performance culture. Their performances were judged by an international jury consisting of conductors, composers, and educators from Australia, Italy, Germany, Belarus, China, Thailand, Kazakhstan, and other countries.
The festival, held from July 12 to 17, 2026, brought together choral groups and specialists from more than ten countries.
