From July 30 to 31, 2026, the prestigious IBDS Grand Slam international sports ballroom dancing tournament was held in Taiyuan (People's Republic of China), bringing together the strongest athletes from various countries around the world.

Following the results of the competition, Sanjar Zhanatauov, a student of the "Pedagogy of Sports Ballroom Dancing" educational program at the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography (coach Makarov D., "TSK "InWite""), demonstrated a high level of professional training, performance skills, and worthily represented Kazakhstan on the international stage.

In various competitive categories, the athlete won:

• 2 gold medals;

• 1 silver medal;

• 1 bronze medal among adult athletes.
