In Astana, the reporting concert of students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography for the 2025-2026 academic year took place on the stage of the "Astana Ballet" theater.
The audience was presented with a rich program that united classical, modern, and national choreography. The concert became the culmination of the academic year and demonstrated the high level of training of the Academy's students.
The first act featured a suite from Riccardo Drigo's ballet "Romance of the Rosebud and the Moth," choreographed by Vasily Medvedev. Students of various training levels participated in the performance, creating a vivid imaginative world of flowers and moths on stage. The young artists demonstrated technique, artistry, and harmonious ensemble work.
The second act featured and performed choreographic numbers set to the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Léo Delibes, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Aram Khachaturian, and other composers. The program included "Bees," "Grand pas academique," variations from the ballet "Swan Lake," pas de deux from "Flames of Paris," modern productions, as well as numbers with national flavor – "Bakhar Sailisi," "Sagynysh," and "Akkyklar" set to the music of Nurgisa Tlendiyev and choreographed by Anvara Sadykova. The evening concluded with a scene from the ballet "Gayane" choreographed by N. Anisimova.
The presented numbers were prepared under the guidance of the Academy's teachers. Their professionalism, dedication, and daily work with young artists became an important foundation for the successful performance of the students.
