
On July 18-19, 2026, the Creative Aimaq Astana exhibition "Legacy of the Golden Horde: Art Born in the Great Steppe", organized by the Corporate Fund "Creative Industries Development Fund" as part of the republican project Creative Aimaq, will take place at the Qazaq Creative Hub in Astana.
The project aims to popularize the historical and cultural heritage of Kazakhstan, support local craftsmen, designers, artists, and representatives of creative industries, as well as develop a modern creative economy through the preservation and reinterpretation of national traditions.
Over two days, visitors will be able to explore exhibitions of designer jewelry, craft works, paintings, items made using the "Quraq Korpe" technique, Ethno Fashion collections, and also purchase unique products from local masters. The venue will feature works inspired by the culture of the Great Steppe and the legacy of the Golden Horde.
Special attention will be paid to the educational program. Master classes will be organized for guests on leather processing, artistic wood carving, blacksmithing, making national musical instruments, jewelry, and decorative and applied arts.
One of the central events of the first day will be the Ethno Fashion Show, where local designers will present collections inspired by the culture of the Great Steppe and the legacy of the Golden Horde. The evening program will conclude with a concert by the Jez Acoustic Band.
