Kazakh performers Akerke Amalat and Jasmina Tuzelova won laureates at international music competitions held as part of the XXXV International Arts Festival "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk."
Akerke Amalat was awarded first prize at the XXXV International Pop Song Performers Contest "Vitebsk-2026." Following the two days of competition, the Kazakhstani representative scored 134 points. Performers from 19 countries participated in the creative competition.
Thirteen-year-old Jasmina Tuzelova also won an award for Kazakhstan. The young performer won second place at the XXIII International Children's Music Competition "Vitebsk-2026," demonstrating a high level of vocal and stage presence.
In addition, Jasmina Tuzelova received a special certificate for the creation of an original composition. The award was established by international jury member and Latvian composer Gaitis Lazdans. International pop song competitions are traditionally held as part of the Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk festival and bring together young artists from around the world.
