50 million tenge in grants have been allocated for literary projects.

Applications are now being accepted for a grant competition for small startups and innovative projects aimed at developing domestic literature, book publishing, and digital technologies for reading and learning.
As part of the competition, 10 projects will be awarded grants of up to 5 million tenge. The total grant fund is 50 million tenge.
Eligible projects include those focused on creating literary works, publishing books, and presenting literature in new formats, including projects in comics, children's literature, fiction, and digital educational technologies.
One of the main requirements for participants is registration as a business entity in the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with established legislation, as well as compliance with the creative industries areas specified in the announcement. Applicants must have no outstanding tax arrears or other mandatory budget payments. Participants must be registered in the Register of Creative Industries Entities on the Qazaq Creative digital platform. Applications for the competition are accepted until September 28, 2026, at 6:30 PM.
