An artistic concert "Zhambyl's Zhyry, Dina's Kyui" was held in Almaty, dedicated to two юбилей dates at once – the 180th anniversary of Zhambyl Zhabayev and the 165th anniversary of Dina Nurpeisova.

The event was held at the initiative of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Orchestra of Folk Instruments. The evening program featured zhyry and songs by Zhambyl Zhabayev, as well as kyui from the creative heritage of Dina Nurpeisova. The concert reflected the continuity of traditional Kazakh art and the unity of poetic heritage.

As part of the event, a travelling exhibition dedicated to the life and work of outstanding figures of Kazakh culture was organized jointly with the Central State Archive of Film, Photo Documents and Sound Recordings of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Rare archival photographs and historical materials were presented to visitors.

The concert was attended by People's Artists of Kazakhstan Ramazan Stamgaziyev and Aigul Ulkenbayeva, recipient of the "Eren eńbegі úshіn" medal Sagdat Akzholova, as well as laureates of international and national competitions Moldir Koiysova and Shattyk Uatkhan.
