Zhambyl Philharmonic opened its 91st concert season

The Zhambyl Kazakh State Academic Philharmonic opened its 91st concert season with a musical evening titled "The Magic of Chamber." The State Woodwind Quintet, led by Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Zhanat Yermanov, performed on stage.

The concert program featured works of world classics, including Antonín Dvořák’s Quintet, Max Bruch’s Trio for Clarinet, Viola and Piano, and Zequinha de Abreu’s "Tico-Tico no Fubá."

In the new season, the Philharmonic will present programs across various genres. One of the key events will be the performance of Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 2, "Resurrection," one of the most monumental works in the history of classical music.
