The exhibition «Ahmet Zhubanov: The Voice of the Era» has opened at the National Central Museum.

An exhibition titled "Akhmet Zhubanov: The Voice of the Era," dedicated to the creative legacy of the outstanding composer, conductor, musicologist, and academician Akhmet Zhubanov, has opened at the National Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The exhibition features about 120 exhibits from the collections of the Akhmet and Gaziza Zhubanov Memorial House-Museum. Among them are rare photographs, archival documents, manuscripts, scientific works, and personal belongings of the composer. Of particular interest are a German typewriter from 1950 with Kazakh letters, a conductor's tailcoat, a dombra from 1934 made by Emanuel and Boris Romanenko, as well as sheet music and other unique items.

The exhibition aims to popularize the life and legacy of Akhmet Zhubanov – one of the founders of Kazakh musical art. His contribution to the establishment of professional music, the development of the folk instrument orchestra, the study of national musical heritage, and the formation of national opera art holds a special place in the history of national culture.
