More than 1.7 million spectators attended concerts in Kazakhstan in the first half of the year.

In the first half of 2026, Kazakhstan's concert organizations held 2,966 events, attended by 1,752,940 spectators. Concerts, tour programs, and creative projects took place in both major cities and regional areas.
Today, 35 concert organizations operate in Kazakhstan, including seven national ones. They develop national performing arts, support creative groups, and expand their touring geography.
One notable project of the first half of the year was the "Khalyk Aueni" concert and tour. From May 21 to 23, it covered 17 regions of the country. Over three days, 51 concert events took place in remote areas and rural communities, attracting approximately 20,000 spectators.
The project brought together various genres of Kazakhstani art – folk music, traditional performance, symphonic works, contemporary pop music, musicals, and choreographic productions. Leading national ensembles, Kazakh Concert artists, orchestras, dance ensembles, opera soloists, and traditional performers performed for the audience.
An important part of the project was not only the concerts but also live audience interaction. Eight creative meetings and master classes were organized in the regions. This format allowed residents of the regions to become more familiar with professional art, and young performers to gain practical experience from renowned stage masters.
Domestic touring activities continued in the first half of the year. Thirty-nine concerts were held across Kazakhstan, reaching 17,012 spectators. Events took place in Astana, Almaty, and the Pavlodar, Aktobe, Mangystau, Kostanay, Akmola, Almaty, Kyzylorda, Abay, and Zhetisu regions.
The first half of the year's program included anniversary evenings, folklore, academic, and contemporary programs. Among them are "FLOW/АҒЫН," "Өмір – қазына," "Отан ана," the monoopera "Адам дауысы," the concert "Әуэнге айналған сезім" using artificial intelligence, as well as new projects by the Kurmangazy Kazakh State Academic Orchestra of Folk Instruments, including FOLK SHOW NAURYZ.
