Soloist of «Astana Opera» Alikhan Zeinolla recently completed an internship in Florence at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino (Teatro del Maggio). The main course of disciplines was taught at the Italian theater in the Maggio Musicale Academy, which implements various youth programs.

Director of the Academy Gianni Tangucci, after a successful audition held in the summer of 2023 in Florence, noticed the talent of the Kazakh vocalist and offered him to study.

«I had a unique opportunity to practice the language that I learned at the International Academy Astana Opera. In addition, I attended a master class with various famous opera singers, such as Italian baritone, vocal teacher Vincenzo Spatola, Gianni Tangucci, buffoon baritone Bruno de Simone, specializing in the parts of Rossini, Donizetti, Mozart. He honed his vocal technique with concertmasters and coaches. I was lucky to work with a very famous pianist Giulio Zappa – artistic director of the Donizetti Theater in the city of Bergamo. We analyzed many parts, arias, romances, worked on the style of Italian operas. Also, I managed to attend rehearsals of Italian artists, to delve into their work process, tried to absorb all the nuances of acting and vocal skills, watched what directors and conductors require from soloists. I think it was a good experience for me. I emphasize that I receive great creative support from my teacher at the International Opera Academy Astana Opera A. Gusev», - said Alikhan Zeinolla.

Despite his young age, the soloist of «Astana Opera» is becoming increasingly in demand on the international opera scene. In August of this year, Alikhan Zeinolla has 4 concert performances planned in Tuscany. The artist will also take part in the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro (Italy), which is one of the most authoritative world venues, and where famous singers of our time consider it an honor to get. A. Zeinolla is also preparing to perform the part of Count Almaviva in the opera «The Barber of Seville» by G. Rossini on the stage of the Tbilisi State Opera and Ballet Theater named after Z. Paliashvili. The singer also plans to perform in October this year in the opera «Cinderella» by G. Rossini at the Teatro del Maggio Musicalle in Florence.

«For me it was a big surprise that I was offered to perform the main part in the famous performance. So, our Kazakh vocal training is not inferior to the European opera school. But «Astana Opera» will always be the number one theater for me, wherever I am, I always say that I am a soloist of «Astana Opera» and represent my native Kazakhstan», - the singer concluded.
