The capital hosted the III International Festival "Temps lié"

This important cultural event has become a platform for exchanging experiences and strengthening ties between schools of choreography from around the world.

The grand opening of the festival was marked by a press conference with honorary guests. The participants of the press conference were Altynai Asylmuratova, artistic director of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography and the ballet troupe of the Astana Opera Theater, Bibigul Nusipzhanova, rector of the Academy, Vladimir Malakhov, renowned ballet dancer and director of the ballet department of the Beijing Dance Academy, Diana Vishneva, prima ballerina of the Mariinsky Theater, Vasily Medvedev, choreographer of the ballet "Romance of a Rosebud and a Butterfly", Konstantin Matveev, artistic director of the Boris Eifman Dance Academy, and Su Ya, vice president of the Beijing Dance Academy.

During the press conference, each of the guests emphasized the importance of exchanging experiences between different cultures and educational institutions. The directors of the new performances shared exciting behind-the-scenes details, creative ideas, approaches to staging, and the unique features of each work.

The audience was presented with a unique production by the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography — the ballet "Romance of a Rosebud and a Butterfly", edited by choreographer Vasily Medvedev and based on the last work of Marius Petipa. The performance, set to the music of Riccardo Drigo, was dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the original production.

The festival included master classes from world ballet stars — prima ballerina of the Mariinsky Theater Diana Vishneva and renowned artist and choreographer Vladimir Malakhov. The master classes allowed participants and guests of the festival to come into contact with the highest level of art, immerse themselves in the world of classical choreography, and learn from the experience of masters. There was also a round table on the topic "Prospects for the development of a choreographic school in the modern education system", where domestic and foreign experts discussed the development of dance art.

The culmination of the festival was the Gala evening, which took place at the Astana Ballet theater. Students from the Boris Eifman Dance Academy and the Beijing Dance Academy presented their programs to the audience. The Boris Eifman Dance Academy performed a one-act ballet "Epiphania", dedicated to the themes of faith, hope and love. The Beijing Dance Academy showed the "Divertissement" program, which combined classical works and modern productions, demonstrating the versatility and beauty of choreographic art.

The "Temps lié" festival has become a significant international platform where participants were able to exchange experiences, establish professional contacts, and find inspiration for new creative projects.
