As part of the week marking National Book Day, libraries across the country celebrated thematic days "Weekend. Book. Vibes" on April 18-19.
The weekend was aimed at promoting reading, fostering a reading culture, and increasing interest in literature among children and young people. Outdoor reading areas, film screenings based on literary works, book club meetings, and a variety of reader programs were organized across the country.
For example, the "BookCrossing" book exchange campaign was held in Astana. The historical feature film "Koshpendіler" and the filmstrip "Kobylandy Batyr" were screened in the Turkestan Region. The "Kitap oku alaңdary" campaign and the poetry evening "Demalis pen kіtap – shabyt үndestіgі" took place in the Abay Region. The Akmola Region hosted a literary evening, "The Great Book of Myths," and an intellectual game, "Quiz Book: The Book of Myths." A poetry evening, "The Great Book of Myths," was held in Zhetisu Region, and a reading marathon, "The Great Book of Myths," was held in Kyzylorda Region.

Over 500 events were organized across the republic, reaching approximately 50,000 people.
