Kazakh performer Alexander Lim became the winner of the international competition of young performers of popular music "New Wave 2025". He became the first representative of Kazakhstan to win this festival.
The singer became famous by recording video covers on social networks. His variations of hits in Russian, English, Italian, Turkish and other languages ​​collect thousands of views and positive feedback.
In 2018, Alexander took part in the competition "I'm a singer Kazakhstan" and reached the semi-finals. In 2021, he took part in the popular show "The Voice of Ukraine", where he passed the blind auditions under the guidance of Nadezhda Dorofeeva and continued to participate until the knockout stage.
Another prize was won by another Kazakh performer - Yernazar Zhuban. Last year, he took first place in the international vocal competition "Slavic Bazaar", held in the city of Vitebsk. The performance at the "New Wave" brought him an honorable third place.
