A creator from Astana held a charity workshop on embroidering skullcaps in honor of Nauryz.

A charity event dedicated to the Nauryz holiday took place in Astana. Astana-based creative artist Nurgul Yalymova organized a skullcap embroidering workshop for children with disabilities and their mothers.
Participants were able to not only learn about the traditions of arts and crafts but also create their own items.
During the workshop, children and parents mastered basic embroidery techniques, learned about the symbolism of patterns, and the significance of the skullcap in Kazakh culture.
The organizer noted that the main goal of the project is to preserve national traditions, develop creative skills, and provide social support to families raising children with special needs.
The artist also conducts charity creative workshops in schools, nursing homes, and hospitals.
