On October 17-18, a creative industries fair of the Karaganda region was held at the Qazaq Creative Hub in Astana. The event was part of the Creative Aimaq project of the Creative Industries Development Fund.
Over 80 representatives of the region's creative businesses participated in the fair—artists, designers, folk craftsmen, entrepreneurs, and technology project developers. Visitors were presented with domestic products: national and modern clothing, designer jewelry and accessories, ceramics, carpets, felt products, paintings, and interior design items. Of particular interest were the artistic works made of coal and metal, reflecting the industrial history and creative identity of the Karaganda region.
A separate section was dedicated to technological developments in industrial 3D printing, information technology, artificial intelligence, and unmanned vehicles. Specifically, technologies for the production of anatomical models for medicine and polymer parts for industry, including those used at Qarmet enterprises, were presented. The cultural program included concerts, designer collection shows, book presentations, and master classes. The event also included a presentation of the books "Kaisar Rukh" and "Life Without Hands" by renowned Kazakhstani artist Karipbek Kuyukov.
Over the two days, the fair was attended by 4,500 people. Total sales amounted to 10 million tenge.
The fair became a platform for promoting domestic products, expanding business connections, and supporting creative entrepreneurship. Such initiatives contribute to the development of creative industries, unlocking the potential of regions, and strengthening their economic opportunities.
