As part of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to the Republic of Korea, representatives of the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Library of Korea held a meeting.

The meeting discussed issues of further developing professional ties between the libraries of the two countries. The parties exchanged views on preserving cultural and scientific heritage, digitizing librarianship, introducing artificial intelligence technologies, developing modern reader services, and facilitating the exchange of experience among specialists.

At the end of the meeting, the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Library of Korea signed a memorandum of cooperation.

The document will expand ties between librarianship professionals of the two countries, contribute to organizing joint initiatives, and accumulate experience in library technologies.
