The National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a thematic tour, "Abai's Murals – His Words of Wisdom," dedicated to the life and creative legacy of the great Kazakh poet, educator, thinker, composer, and translator Abai Kunanbayuly, in honor of Abai Day.
The tour took place in the "History of Kazakhstan from the 13th to the 20th Centuries" hall. Visitors were told about Abai's life, his literary and educational legacy, the significance of his poems and "Words of Edification," and his contribution to the development of Kazakh spiritual culture and written literature.
Particular attention was paid to Abai's ideas on knowledge, education, labor, morality, and spiritual development, which remain relevant today.
The thematic tour was part of a series of events aimed at popularizing Abai's legacy and raising interest in Kazakh literature, history, and culture.
